Most people drive through the habitat park first, then after completion you can drive through again as many times as you like during the day or at the end is an amusement park with boat rides, petting zoo, rides and small water park for children. Hundreds of animals to view- rhinos, giraffes, chimps, gibbons, ostriches, tapirs, lamas, great tortoises, oryx, water buffalo, kulan, nilgai, and various plains herd animals: zebra, blackbuck, kudu, impala wildebeest, waterbuck, eland, watusi, and nyala. Also included a separate habitat with a full pride of lions with a male and several females. There are about 6 different animal habitats to slowly drive your vehicle from South American, Asian and several African habitats. I arrived at opening on Saturdays at 9:30 am. There were lots of animals, often a dozen or more in clusters. You drive through the preserve, a nice feature on the windy cool day we were there. It is an expansive area, larger than expected with several different parks. We drove through the entrance into.Africa. We had read about this attraction for years and finally went. ![]()
